I’m keen on the suffix – it feels like silk nice and smooth and round - when it does bind (backlash) it is a lot easier to get out but it is costly!
I’ve just tried Tuf-Line XP and it is a lot like suffix, don’t know what the cost is – I got it as a sample pack!

Power-Pro by far......Nothing else comes close in my opinion. I lived in Florida for the past 4 years and braid is on 8 out of 10 rods. I tried just about every braid available and Power-pro holds up longer and the 65lb brought 10ft gators right up to the boat.

Suffix is pretty good ... another one that is very similar is the Daiwa Samurai ... I've got some of their 70# braid on my flipping stick. Switched out of ProwerPro because it was cutting my hand when I draw it back for the flip ... not so bad when your weight is <1/2 oz ... not so good when your weight is >1oz!! I've got finger cuts to prove it!

But how is it on 11' gators. we bought a house that had been vacant for a while, got one big gator that likes to sun about 10' from our back door  was thinking of getting him on a little skunk bait.

+1 on the power pro been slowly changing rods to it then a flouro leader when needed

In that case, Jerry Brown Line One Spectra, at least 200# with a stainless 1000# leader!

I like Power Pro and Spiderwire Stealth... both work well for my applications.
