While he is not in the Bay Area (he's located near Placerville) WON Photographer Bill Mays breeds gun dogs. I am sorry I do not have his contact info right here but I am sure someone else can supply it.

My father in law breeds labs all yellow and usually has one per litter that is white. He has three litters coming around late September. His last litter there was one that was almost white. My buddy bought it. Same sire & dam bred now. If you want his # let me know and i'll pm you. All pups reg AKC, 1st shots, OFA certified hip disp. free & wormed.

There is a breader up north that has what you are looking for- some where near Wichipec. I am thinking Silver Mountain Labs or something like that ??

His labs were pointing labs though and he wanted a premium price using the same stud/damms.

Look on AKC.org -- There is a ton of information for you to research for clubs, breaders and private party.

I always researched mine through Studs that had MH and bred via a private party.
You know, we always called each other goodfellas. Like, you'd say to somebody: "You're gonna like this guy; he's all right. He's a goodfella. He's one of us." You understand? We were goodfellas, wiseguys.

Are you sure you want a fair colored Retriever? The blocker Retrievers are commonly called English retrievers, since they were bread after the original American bread in England. The English bread dogs are usually larger and more mellow. Almost all animals are darker on the upper side. Most Yellows will have some darker portions on their upper side. I prefer darker skinned, darker nosed retrievers. Always visit the breeders and checkout the parents.
