Mark was(is) a skilled boat mechanic, had a great shop near the 5th street ramp in Lakeport. He moved to Alabama did well in BASS. He gave Woo Daves a run for the classic title with drop shot rigs up north a few years back, I wonder how he is today too, maybe its a family thing these days...he could catch em for sure.. I think Andre got into saltwater tourneys Redfish Kingfish ect. in Florida now those are fun games..
the best way to catch a big one is don't lose um sharp hooks set drag retie!

Andre Moore owns reaction innovations still and lives in Alabama He only fishes ocean tournaments you should see his ocean boat....
Re: Another "What happened to..." Mark Risk???
He actually now runs the Nitro boat sales department for the Bass Pro Shops in the Birmingham area and no longer has a boat or guides. He and his wife are now part owners in a Moto-Cross track near Huntsville and in their spare time support their son Fisher's dreams to excell in that sport.
Yes those were some great ol days on Clear Lake in the early 90's and he is so glad to have been able to successfully persue "The Dream" over that next ten year period. He was a great team partner, great stick and still a great friend.

Hello! This is Mark's wife, Sheryl.
We've been living in Alabama for approx 7 years now. Mark was the general manager for All Pro Marine but left a few months ago due to bad business decisions from the owner.
He is going in partnership with someone here in Huntsville AL (near lake guntersville) to open a new repair shop. They should be open within the next month or so. Tennessee Valley Marine. Mark will be overseeing the repair shop.
I've been married to him for over 17yrs now and have yet to hear anyone say anything negative about his marine mechanical abilities so he should do fine.
Mark gave up his boat a few years ago. And no it had nothing to do with the wife.lol! It was something he just wanted to do. said he was burnt out on the whole fishing thing, tired of sponsor chasing, financial rollercoasters and the traveling. He did guide for a bit but eventually sold the boat. No boat.
Our daughter has finished college lives a bit north of us and our son, Fisher, is in Jr. High. The 3 of us race and ride dirt bikes now. We help run a track http://www.mclartymx.com. So marks on a dirt bike at age 47 but we're having alot of fun.
If anyone wanted to reach him, his cell is 256-486-4679
take care all!

Sheryl: Please tell Mark I said Hi! I haven't seen him in years and we used to hang out together around Clear Lake back in the day. He also took VERY good care of me and my Mariner outboard and got me through some jams when the chips were down.
Thanks for checking in and updating us!

totally understand, and it's good to hear a report like this. By far Mark, and Calvin at the then California Customs were two of the best boat riggers , and mechanics anywhere. I'm sure Mark will do quite well on his own! Good Luck.
