I wish I were you !

I would forget fishing and just hang out here in the Giant's Den to watch the pre-season games that they record and play if they are not live.

The food -- Nothing like you will ever eat to enjoy again until the next time - Start with the Fresh Steamers .. rest and watch some more Giants BBall ... After digestion ~ Finish with the rib's and pesto pasta .... Call it an awesome day !

Hogan is almost full. All the planted brush piles are flooded. No fee is a plus, and plenty of bank access. I fished it last Thurs. & Fri. before work. Caught 2 smallies on a jig, and had a couple of ticks on a swimbait. Almost got bit by a Rattler up in Whiskey Creek.

Camanche is really close to Hogan, but costs duckets, and I haven't fished it from shore for many years.

Lodi Lake/Mokellumne River fishes small LOL. It IS a good place to waste an hour or so. I'm surprised the lake isn't rising yet, but as SOON as there is enough water for fish to get in, they just get stupid for any lure. If the lake is still dry, those bass go somewhere. Deep holes & channel turns. Unmolested fish.

Oak Grove Park in StocktONE off of I 5 & 8 Mile Rd. is small. Trout and a few bass that eat them. The water is anything but clear, and you are still like, 3 min. away from 3 Delta sloughs if you go west of 5.

I drove by Rancho Seco a while back, and it looked really interesting. They have Trout, Bluegill and Crappie for Bass to munch on.
