1999 Ranger R83 Sport For Sale (Boat and Trailer only)

This is the perfect boat for the first-time bass boat owner, the fisherman looking to upgrade from aluminum to fiberglass, and/or someone who wants to equip a vessel to their exact specifications. I am selling the boat and trailer only - no outboard motor, trolling motor or electronics.

I have owned this boat since 2002. I am the second owner. It was repossessed from the original owner in Missouri. I bought it online from a dealer in Texas. Has been kept in covered storage (when not in use) since the day I purchased it.

In 2007, I began fishing from another boat but decided to keep this one due to it's sentimental value. It was my first fiberglass boat and I had planned on keeping it in the family and handing it down to my son when he comes of age. It has not been used since that time.

In 2010, it was completely refurbished with new carpet throughout and new bench seat with upholstery. In addition, the hull was restored to its original finish. Lastly, a recessed foot pedal for the trolling motor was installed.

The trailer has not been refurbished, but has been well-maintained (wheel bearings, grease, tires, lighting, etc.) and is in good condition. The trailer wench is new.

The original motor was an 175hp Evinrude FICHT. The old adage of "it will get you there, but it might not get you back" rings true in this case. May she rest in peace...
