Hi everyone. How much can I expect to pay for the 100 hour maintenance on my 2005 model 150 Optimax? What will be done to the engine and parts? Thanks.

100 hours maintenance cost on a Mercury Optimax 150?
Re: 100 hours maintenance cost on a Mercury Optimax 150?
Depends if you want the water pump replaced. I would say $400-$600 depending. Thats about what I spend on my 200 opti.
I would rather jog home from my own Vasectomy than spend Saturday at the mall.

What all do they do? It seems to me that you can do it yourself and save some cash...

If you're in the area, I highly recommend C&C marine in Modesto, very competitive rates and they'll do an excellent job. Prob looking at somewhere around $500.

If your in the area I highly recomend Capital City Marine in Citrus Heights. Mike and the crew are hands down the best people I know.

Before you do it yourself, check out your warranty. You don’t want to void your warranty. If you are in the Delta area go on down and see Frank at Inland Marine – I think my last one was $450 and that included the water pump.
