Lures has added to its line of award-winning jigheads
with new weights and sizes for its Depth Charge Heavy Wire jigheads.
The
Australian company, which won an AFTA award in the best terminal tackle
category for its HeadlockZ HD models, says it has introduced
the new jigheads in response to demand from anglers.

Lures Depth Charge Heavy Wire jigheads are a premium
quality jighead built on extra heavy duty (XHD) Gamakatsu chemically sharpened
hooks. This makes them ideal for hard-pulling species such as snapper, other
reef and pelagic species and when fishing heavy drags to extract fish from
cover. They feature a sculptured, painted head and 3D eyes for increased
realism.
Originally
available in 1/2oz, 3/0 XHD, TT Lures says it received numerous requests from
anglers wanting this strong hook and painted head in additional weights and
hook sizes. This has seen the release of three additional sizes – 1/4oz, 2/0
XHD; 3/8oz, 3/0 XHD; and 5/8oz, 4/0 XHD.
This
makes a total of four models in the range, each one available in six colours designed to complement the most popular soft
plastics on the market – Sardine, Pilchard, Funky Chicken, Snapper Seed, Pink
Snapper and Chartreuse Pearl.
Depth
Charge jigheads are also available in a light wire
version built on Gamakatsu chemically sharpened hooks, making them a good
option for bass, golden perch and light line estuary species. The light wire
version is available in four hook and weight combinations and six colours. There are three jigheads
per pack.
