George T. caught this 42-inch, 31-pound, 15-ounce striped bass on a swimbait Tuesdaynight from shore on the Colorado River in Bullhead City. He said the fight lasted about 14 minutes. The fish got off the hook near the shore and George went in the water to grab the fish before it swam away.

--I BEAT MY RECORD-- I BEAT MY PERSONAL BEST WEIGHING IN AT 31LB 42IN LONG AND 13IN UP. THE FIGHT WAS BEYOND CRAZY SPOOLING ME OUT BACK TO BACK TO WHERE I HAD VERY LIL LINE LEFT. BIG SHOUT OUT TO CYRUS FOR GETTING IN THE WATER AND HELPING ME WITH LIGHT. I HAD TO GET IN THE WATER AND WALK DOWN RIVER TO FIGHT THE FISH OR I WOULD HAVE BEEN SPOOLED OFF AND LOST THE FISH AND MY SWIMBAIT. THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME I FOUGHT A FISH LIKE THIS A FEW WEEKS BACK I LOST 2 FISH THAT SPOOLED ME OFF AND SNAPPED ME OFF. NOW I KNOW WHAT I WAS FACING ON THE LAST TWO I LOST. I DO HAVE TO SAY A BIG THANKS TO MY BUDDY KENAN FOR ALL THE TIPS AND TRICKS TO CATCHING THESE FISH, UNFORTUNATELY THE FISH DID NOT LIVE. WHEN THE STRIPER POPPED OFF AT SHORE I HAD TO JUMP ON IT BEFORE IT SWAM AWAY I FAILED ON THE FIRST ATTEMPT THEN FOUND THE STRIPER AGAIN AND JUMPED ON IT AGAIN AND PUT MY ARM THROUGH THE GILL AND OUT THE MOUTH. I WAS NOT GOING TO LOOSE THIS FISH. ONE THING I DO HAVE TO SAY IS PUSH YOUR SELF TO CONTINUE EVEN IF YOU ARE NOT CATCHING ANY THING. THIS IS A DREAM FISH FOR ME AND IT IS A BLESSING TO SAY I CAN SHARE THESE MOMENTS WITH MY KIDS. PICTURES ONLY TELL A GLIMPSE OF A STORY BUT A VIDEO SHOWS IT ALL. OTHERS GET MAD FOR SHARING ON WHAT IS WORKING ME I PERSONALLY JUST WANT TO SEE EVERY ONE CATCH A MONSTER AT LEAST ONCE IN THERE LIFE TIME. .GEAR I USED.
