Isle, Minnesota – The Mille Lacs Smallmouth Alliance is excited to announce that it has hired Glenn Walker to serve as its editor for their soon to be launched membership e-newsletters. The membership base for the Mille Lacs Smallmouth Alliance is approaching the 250 mark and will now be receiving a quarterly e-newsletter, with the inaugural issue being delivered mid-December.
“The growth and reception that the Mille Lacs Smallmouth Alliance has garnered this past year has been incredible,” stated Jim DaRosa, President. “With this interested and engaged membership base, it is our responsibility to inform them on the happenings of the Mille Lacs Smallmouth Alliance, as well as provide them with interesting and informative articles and to best do this; we as a Board are excited to have Glenn join our team as the inaugural editor.”
As the editor, Glenn will be responsible for the development and procurement of content for each edition of the e-newsletter, as well as assembling the e-newsletter for distribution. “When Jim first called and ran the idea by me, I was honored to be given this opportunity,” said Glenn. “Having fished Mille Lacs I know what kind of special fishery it is and being able to be to serve the Alliance as their editor and bring their messages to their members is very exciting.”
Glenn is an avid tournament angler in the Midwest and currently writes for several outdoor publications and websites, including: Midwest Outdoors, Bass Angler Magazine, ClassicBass.com, WesternBass.com and ScoutLookWeather.com. The company provides marketing, media buying and social media services to clients in the hunting and fishing industry. Glenn lives in Savage, Minnesota with his wife and son.
“Not only does Glenn spend a good deal of time on the water fishing, but he has a keen ability of being able to put together information and messages that fishing audiences are able to read and learn from with ease,” said DaRosa.
