Berkley’s line of soft plastics underwent a massive overhaul. Several new styles, shapes, and colors have been added, and some of the most popular baits are now available in the PowerBait lineup. Here are eight of the new designs for 2019.
PowerBait The General – New Sizes
Berkley’s The General is a favorite stickbait that is part of the MaxScent line, and now they have included it as part of PowerBait. Also new for this year is the addition of two new sizes a 4.25” and 6” to go with the original 5” version to cover all situations you may find yourself in on the water.
PowerBait Mantis Bug
The Mantis Bug is a creature bait with plenty of action.
It has a split tail design as well as two flapping appendages coming from the rear of the bait.
Up further in the body are two appendages coming out of both sides of the bait. It measures in at 4-inches long and is sure to be a winner.
PowerBait The Windup
This seven-inch bait features a thin body and hard-kicking paddle at the rear.
This bait can be fished many ways even though the design makes it perfect for the swimming worm technique.
It can also be fished weightless, Texas-rigged, or on a shaky head.
PowerBait Sick Fish
This swimbait is not a new design and Berkley has been producing it for several years in the HAVOC line.
It is now available with the proven PowerBait formula. It comes in both the three- and four-inch sizes
PowerBait Pit Boss
Like the Sick Fish, the Pit Boss is tried and true.
Since it will now be available in the PowerBait lineup, it is sure to be even better as fish will hold on to it even longer.
PowerBait Bottom Hopper
Here is another bait that has proven itself and is now available as part of the PowerBait lineup. This straight tail catches fish no matter how you decide to rig it.
PowerBait Bunker Hawg
This creature bait comes in at 4-inches long and has a proven shape that bass love.
It has a split tail design and two appendages to match a variety of the favorite foods of bass.
PowerBait MaxScent Flat Worm
This 4-inch bait is tailor-made for a drop-shot rig. It has a small, thin profile and the MaxScent added to attract and bite and not let go.
