Full field for the Everstart!

Talked to a buddy at the ramp this morning and he told me he waited too long to sign up... As of yesterday he's #5 on the wait list as a pro! Since they normally have more co's than pros it's seems pretty safe to assume they filled the field.

Could be but it doesn't make sense that it would be. They do not put anybody on a waiting list unless they are needed to fill the 150 field. We have fished Strens with over full fields but that was when they were allowing people to pair up and sign up. Sounds like some Co's have an opportunity this year to jump in at the last moment.

True, the Everstart in Florida this week was in the 160's. Perhaps their fields are higher. Funny though the winner got the announced $3500 and thats it.

This is what FLW did. They had 164 Pro's fish. They were to pay 50 spots for 150 pro's but since they had 14 over a full feild FLW payed 14 places more than 50 to 64. Good deal if you ask me, normally 1 in 3 payout turned to 1 in 1 over the 150 mark.

Exactly Guy. Great deal for the extra spots. Not only do they pay back the extra spots, the money paid is the FULL entry amount. No skim for the organization. The Tour will pay back 70 instead of the posted 60 spots this year. Since I usually finish just out of the money I guess that means I am going to have a bunch of 75th place finishes this year.
Still do not think they run a waiting list for overs. Maybe. If so, very cool.

That a way Guy...Like it. Thanks for the accurate info. Full Field is awsome. I will be back with you again someday. Need to be here for my little ones. I may try to sneek one in this year. Was looking at some old stats and you and I have fished some of the same stuff. Get em at Shasta bro.

When I spoke with Chris Hoover last week, he was afraid this would happen. We had a waiting list for coanglers late in the week, so coanglers quit signing up thinking they would not get in. Now, we have a waiting list for pros. Any coanglers that want to fish can still get in and FLW is taking sign-ups all the way to registration. We should be close to or perhaps over 150 when all is said and done. Last count I heard was 143.

Sure you took all day to come up with that Rick but you might want to take your Dobyns jersey off and read what I preached ALL LAST YEAR. We need the Everstarts. Told Hoover and FLW that every chance that I could last year while they were gone. They were the best fit for the majority of our fishermen. Too bad they took a year off for me. I gave up on the boater direction and my son found other interests. Hope they do fill but the real test will be Roosevelt. That lake is a long drive for those Nor. Cal guys. (Is that enough critical comment to keep you fulfilled)

What they really need to do is bring back the BFL's. Those were the best. An "All American" just aint an "All American" without the west coast representation.

Found out today the the Everstart back in florida had 164 pro's sign for all 4 tournaments thus FLW let all 164 fish. The Shasta event will only have 150 pro's. Full feild!!!!! So there is a Pro waiting list, who would have thunk it!?!

The field is full, I signed up Friday night online as an AM and received my confirmation today from Chris Hoover.... I was #150 and as of now they are not going to go over the 150 mark.
