just started using these cranks they run great for me i really like them , the huge downside the bills are breaking 2 in 2 trips there not cumming un glued they shear off right at the head of the plug anyone else having this prob or did i get two lemons in a row , and no i dont slap the grass off

I have had a few of mine break also, but only when they hit a dock or rock.

it's funny when you pull it up and only the plastic bill is there.

I've also had the paint crack on one...

The bills coming out has always been a problem with these baits, but at least they don't cost $15 each and they catch fish! Great cranks!

When i saw the thread title I was gonna say...

Do you smack the grass off?? LOL Been there done that...

If you guys find the broken lure I can fix it.. or switch out your bills with a Lexan bill on other DT's you have... I havent had the problem your talkin about but I have had others tell about it..

Lexan is tuff stuff you cant break it.

im in the process of converting bill from various crank baits from the typical brittle plastic to a hard G-10 material. once i have this perfected i will help people out with this problem.

I have only had one Rapala break and it was a DT 10 after I hit a dock and I hit it hard but other than that they are my fav cranks.
