Got a flat yesterday (9 month old tires ). I have an old drive up half circle I had for my 396, but it looks like its too small for the axel. What jack do you guys carry and do you need a riser for a hydraulic?

This is the easiest way to go with tandem axles. You can make your own with 2x6 lumber stacked together. All i ever used on tandem axles. I have a single axel trailer now and keep a cheap Harbor Freight bottle jack in the truck.

I don't have a tandem axel but I've helped out a couple of guys with flat tires that have tandem axels. I went to a local junk yard and got a scissor jack from a wrecked car for $5. It folds nice and flat, stores in my front tackle compartment.

Thanks Guys,
Went with the ramp and battery powered impact wrench. Worked like a charm. Now I need some muscle to lift the spare onto the spare tire rack.
