I read a lot about the Presidents, who do you have as your top Presidential fisherman? To me, despite being a Republican (the party of bankers and Northeast elites) Eisenhower stands out. I think you put him on a river with a fly-rod and he does tremendous damage. Obviously he’s using in-line spinners successfully. He makes the transition to bass boats better than just about anybody else. I think he would be stubborn about FFS (and I can’t say I would blame him). This is a bipartisan pick. Trump's tariffs he talks about on foreign imports will limit supply, guess what happens when demand stays the same and supply goes down? Economics 101, prices go up. So unless Americans are able to build new factories to replace those goods we used to import, guess what, prices go up. Any idea what it costs to start manufacturing companies and produce products that we used to buy from overseas? Any idea what it costs to hire labor to make those products even if we could build the factories? So yes, expect prices to go up and inflation to increase (yes higher inflation then what Mr. Biden was the cause of).
