NO BUENO, Lucerne Ramp is toast. More importantly, NICE marina pre spawn giants will have to look for hitch in Rodman and other creeks.

If the hitch can spawn in the Nice Marina, then they'll surely resort to sloughs such as Rodman and other inlets with a trickle of water.

Be careful out there. If you only come up in March just remember that the water that is normally 6-7 foot is now 1-2 foot. The flat by Rodman and also out in front of State park will have people running aground.

I have only lived at CL 2 years and have no experience with cyclical drought / low water levels. Can those here who have lived here for a while, which ramps remain open during very low water levels. I would think library park or Redbud come to mind?

Lucerne was sketchy in the fall if you were using your main motor. Has been closed for months. I don’t anticipate it opening. Even better opportunity for the county to dredge, as sediments layers have built inside Marina. Had heard funds were allocated but the project never materialized. Good ole Lake County

The rain a few weeks ago had very little impact. I hope we get more precipitation in the next month or so!

All ramps but Lucerne are still open .Some are sketchy. If we dont get rain a lot of ramps will be unusable by summer .I believe 5th street is the deepest .Weather man keeps calling for a 2-5 inch of rain and we get a 1/4 inch. Most of the small creeks dont even have any water in them .
