Do these help cushion the rod guides when in the rod locker?

Thanks for the welcome Ash - and for posting that great pic of G-Man.

The Rod Glove does a good job of protecting the guides both while getting the rods in and out of your locker and while riding in rough water. It keeps the rods from getting tangled and having the guides from multiple rods rubbing against each other.
