Report: Fished the last three hours of daylight today and found the bite to still be tough. Typical fall day - no wind, clear water, no clouds. Next week may be what the doctor ordered - some wind and maybe some rain. Most bait and bass seem to be 40 feet and deeper. There was no bait or fish activity at dusk. I tried topwater anyway - nothing. I did spoon a nice 2 lb spot in the middle of the lake, and missed another. |
Tips: Look for long points and deep drop-offs. They will start to hit topwater - soon I hope! |
