basstrix spintrix trailer question??SUGGESTIONS?

Postby basspunisher24/7 » Mon Sep 20, 2010 4:21 pm

What trailers do you like to throw on the basstrix spintrix jighead? I have had success with the basstrix paddletail trailer made for this bait, but was wondering if there are any other great trailers to put on the back of these jig heads. I am looking for a trailer that isn't going to hamper the action of the underspin blade. Also what color blade do you prefer on the underspin. gold, chrome, black, etc.? any input on this topic would be greatly appreciated. Chris C.

Tight lipped bunch.
The SpinTrix can used with nearly any soft jerk bait type trailer. The underspin blade swims the head, so straight tail type soft plastics also work good, less side to side roll, but a good tight wiggle that will trigger strikes on the fall.
Now just between you and me, Hogy makes a good hand poured sluggo up to 16" long, should you be inclined to fish for stripers or whatever.

thanks for the info tom. ill try a straight tail trailer next time for the tight wiggle. you would think this being a bass fishing site and all that I could get just a little more info on this topic. Tight Lines, Chris C.
