TNT Wadda Jig for Wadda Fish

Post by twister »

:D I don't know how many of you seen Cooch's new jig, but I think its just an awesome bait. Long Silicone skirt, powder coated head, short shank razor sharp Mustad hook, and hand tied quality makes it my choice for Jig fishing in the Delta. Has anyone else tried them? What do you think? Just today I lost one. If it wasn't for that tree I think one will last me at least 30 fishing trips. The skirt never faded or came apart after fishing 3 days in the Delta and 2 days at Clearlake. Wadda Wadda Jig.

I think that you have summed up the wadda jig. The owner of TNT baits has put alot of though into his jig making. He puts alot of time and effort into making these jigs. The heads are all hand poured and painted. The skirts are all hand tied by the owner of TNT jigs. There is not many companies if any out there that put this much effort into making something. The Wadda Jig has been a big bait for my fishing needs on the delta. Top this bait off with your favorite trailer and you have yourself a fish destroying bait.

He also makes custom jigs for the lakes. He will make them to your desire in color and weight. I use the 3/8 ounce jig for my preference and you choose the colors that you want. Not many places that you can call the owner of the company, give him the color combination that you would like, and it is taken care of. Top notch customer service topped with custom hand tied jigs, this is hard to beat.

One other thing that i want to throw in on this is that his jigs are all tied with Mustad Ultra Point hooks that are the sharpest hook on the market at this time. 60 degree for the wadda jig and 90 degree for custom lake jigs. Thes hook combinations will not fail you when the money is on the line. Next time you want to tie that jig on for the bigguns, give TNT baits a call at 209-505-8504 and be ready to put the big weights in your livewell

Awesome product and an awesome guy. If you are not a jig fisherman you will be after throwing this on your favorite water. Customized jigs the way you want is a big plus to alot of people. Another big thing is that this is a local bait company, built here in the USA. Like jbsteels I like the 3/8oz jig pretty much everywhere I go. Call Troyce and get some jigs, you will not regret it.

As Gator said the website is in the works and that will allow you to see pictures of standard jigs and order on line. Contacting Troyce @ (209)505-8504 is one of the few ways to get them in your tackel box at this time.

Last Friday evening @ Extrem Outdoors in Oakely they had some of the Wadda jiggs by TnT for sale @ the seminar that was going on for the Future Pro tour.

If you go through Troyce he uses FEDEX to ship them to you and works hard to get the orders out with in 24 hours on a bussniess day.

I gave away all of my 'other' jigs. I'm only using TnT jigs from here on out.
Troyce is a first class guy and not only makes a great jig but loves to talk fishing.
Quality product made by a quality individual. Can't beat that.

Twister
Long Silicone skirt,
Actually it is not a silicone skirt but in fact a long, round rubber skirt. And we've designed it this way for a couple of reasons. First and formost it makes for a longer, thinner silouehette as it's falling or being swam with a grub attached. Better suited to emmulate a bait forage. Secondly the bouyancy of this rubber is amazing and when that jig rests on the bottom, the strands just stand straight out into a sweet, giant ,quivering tantalizing ball that bass seem to love. The best part about the length, is that guys can trim an modify the skirt to their liking in the event they want a special presentation with a variety of trailers. A lot of jigs are using what I feel is too little or short of a skirt. This skirt is far more versatile for the angler.

Thanks fer the good words guys. This jig will do exactly what I had hoped it would do, put fish in the boat and speak for itself. A lot of time and effort has gone into bring this jig to the fishing public, we're getting closer and closer every day. Thanks fer the great words. We're also open for any cons, from those of you who have used it, as well.

The TnT Wadda jig only comes in Brown or Black and in 3/8 and 1/2 oz. Here of late the orders have been for black but the brown works fine also. Dress the jig with your favorite trailer to add color.
Now the Wadda jig is great if your fishing the Delta but for the lakes you need the custom jigs that he ties.

I personally like the 3/8 brown, brown/green. I fish the lakes more than the delta and these colors are awesome out there. Give Troyce a call, he will steer you in the right direction, (209) 505-8504

Lancer,

The TNT Wadda Jig is only the first of many jigs we will be bring to market here over the next several months. The Wadda is an arkie style pitchin/flippen jig. The initial colors being introduced are straight brown and black, both in 3/8oz and 1/2oz sizes. We soon will be adding some variations like black w/blue, red & yellow and a brown with purple, green & orange. We're also discussing a 1/4oz and 3/4 oz head too. Selecting the proper jig size and color to use, is really dependant upon the type of forage you are attempting to represent. Jig fishing can be somewhat of an art form, it's combonations are limitless. Hence my penchant fer keeping it simple, straight browns and blacks, mix in the purples and blues.

Troyce also ties a wide variety of lake jigs. These range from many styles and color patterns that are being used by foothill anglers in the various lakes in the motherlode. His lake jigs are DynoMITE! They cover a wide spectrum of colored skirts with matching heads, again, ech one representing some form of available forage on the lakes.. Troyce also pours a very unique style of darterhead, it is literally explosive in the water compared to the darter heads we are all used to seeing today. Down the road we will also be adding another Signature series football head jig from myself. We've got what we feel is a purty good line up of products to offer for the TNT line of jigs. Shoot Bill or Mike a PM and I'm sure they will be more than happy to provide ya with some detailed insight for lake fishing.

Right now, we're still not prepared to relaese the baits to the stores. We have to be sure we're in a stable postion with not just our production processes and packaging, but the inventory as well. We plan to assure proper support and product availability to the stores before we move in with them. We do want anglers to get the chance to use these jigs and we are taking different oppurtunities to do so. Hence why we've also made them available by phone or e-mail ordering at this time.

Offduty,

We are in the process of redesigning the website. We have added some new colors and products and also our logo has changed. Gator is working on the site and hopefully it'll be done in a month or so. The Hook, Mel Cottons and Limit Out carry our products. If you have any questions, you can give me a call at (209) 505-8504.

Thanks,
