so true, but i think a couple of those other lakes have rebounded well since and will start to kick out big fish again...dixon as you said will be too crowded to fish for at least a year or so, but there's probably 3 other lakes in san diego that can put out that fish

I am both patriotic and appreciative of what soldiers have done. but lets put things into prospective here. This is fishing...i love fishing, but thi...

Make sure you bring some light line and prepare for a finess battle. I prefished this event last year with my neighbor who is a fireman here in San Diego. We got on lots of fish no size though, biggest 2 lbs. Dropshot, tubes, spinnerbaits, throw senkos at breaking fish. The winners brought in 2 days...

I posted this under another topic as well. I like the japanese flourocarbon alot better than anything america has to offer. The reason I like it so much is one the line is bulletproof, i go as low as 4lb test when d-shotting usually 5-6 though. I like SUNLINE, and SUGUI, this flourocarbon if treated...

I think thats strange. I am 18 years old soon to be 19 and I love fishing, its my life, its what i want to do for a living. I think that the difference is now that there are more avid youth fisherman , and less general population of kids fishing. Alot of it probably has to do with the patience requi...
