The weather today made a lot of anglers frustrated. It made bites easier to come by and the big bags came out. I know there's two guys in the top 10 hoping for flat calm bluebird skies tomorrow.

I was lucky to have a lot of great teachers on the delta that. I made a lot of mistakes and broke off a ton of fish, but lesson learned and still being learned. It's not necessary to dropshot with a casting rod, but hook into a beast and you'll be glad you had it. I've narrowed it down to two setups...

Pretty awesome... Good fish being weighed...

I did see something I think went wrong with the weigh in. If anyone else saw Jason Cordiale weigh in it looked like they made a mistake on his weight. He didn't have a big bag, but it looked like it weighed light.

Yes, it was changed because live video of today was cancelled after not working correctly.

It's tough to follow the anglers and the event without the live weigh ins, I'd love some updates at least.

Ricky is right on about FLW... They came out here and tried to make it work. They still want to help the west grow and I think they can. I know of a few anglers that live just on winnings. It's crazy that they can do that... To me its almost more feasible to live on a big local tournament lake, practice like hell, and fish every tournament possible. At least then you cut down on travel expenses. There is an angler west video or maybe its true bass that has Bill Siemantel and Vince Hurtado check it out on youtube.

Also, any Bub Tosh seminar you can find he will talk about pedro. I know a lot of guys drag the huddleston on long line like a jig or carolina rig.

Job well done. The magazine looks great. Tom Leogrande got Basswest the readership it has and now the current staff got the magazine deadlines and deliveries where they need to be.

I really do miss working for basswest, but love seeing the direction it has gone.

All of the people involved in organizing this tournament seem really committed to the sport of bass fishing and tournaments at Roosevelt.
