Re: Loomis completly changes their xpedite warranty service
The problem with the normal warranty program was the Xpeditor was cheaper than shipping in for inspection, waiting for repair or replacement and then shipped back to you. It was truly a service in that you called or filled out online, they sent the rod and shipment papers for return of broken rod. M...

Progressive told me they made a rate change for this area.....collision part went up almost 70%, so depending on what "my area" is, if you haven't renewed you may be in for the same. I'm definitely looking at other options. I only used Progressive for their relationship to USAA in relation...

I've had experience with both and each time it was to my satisfaction. I have used both Loomis' Xpeditor and also sent rods in for warranty repair. I have never had a hassle with either service. Clear Lake/DFG and 2 miles
I want to know and hopefully Tom will shed some light on the other issues, how a 2 mile release rule was thought up? Surely it's not a state rule as I've fished plenty of tournys elsewhere and never heard 2 miles out before. What point is there to take fish 2 MILES out? rather than 1/4 mile etc........

Re: Where to find a jig mold......
Chris, Do-it makes a football mold with 90 degree hook. It's made for lighter wire hook, but you can modify easily depending on the difference in hook shank diameter. Since the molds are aluminum they can be modified rather easily by putting the hook you want into the mold and simply closing and aga...

Cooch, the best thing you can use is Devcon 2 ton epoxy. Most do it yourselfers use this to clear coat baits after painting. the pluses are very strong, dries CLEAR and it's waterproof not waterresistant. Downside is ya gotta let it set overnight to get max strength. I use nothing else when gluing s...
