Looking for 2007 Stratos 286XL
I'm looking for the guy who bought the wrecked 2007 Stratos 286XL and worked on it to restore the hull. I had heard that it is finished and he posted pictures on Western Bass showing how it looks now.
That was my boat and I would like to see the pictures.
Thanks

Re: Delta Smallies
Late spring to early summer smallies are very active on the sloughs west of the Sacramento River where they feed mostly on crawdads. Try Miner, Sutter and Steamboat sloughs. They are there during the summer but the bite is slower. Also try pop R's early and late, shallow shad cranks and drop shot sm...

New FishElite 480 using existing Lowrance X135 sonar?
I want to replace the front Lowrance X135 sonar with an Eagle FishElite 480 sonar/GPS. Will the existing Lowrance trolling motor transducer work on the FishElite 480 by using the Transducer Adapter Cables, TA-BL2U. I called Eagle and they said yes, but I wasn't confident that they knew what I was ta...

Re: Camanche Help?
Hey BigFish,
I found that if you fish the back of coves that are facing west in the afternoon you have better then average chance of getting your neck sunburned.
What do you mean a "small club"?

Re: Fishing New Hogan for the first time
Thanks for the good advice regarding New Hogan. I need it because I fished their today and only caught 2 bass.
Thanks MT, Kentuck and especially Fishing4Bass who posted this thread for the good of the club. What a guy.
"backlash", It would have worked if you hadn't got caught.

backlash: Thanks for your input. It was the only one that made sense and I did exactly what you suggested and it worked. Very grateful.

engine tilt & trim issue
I have a 2007 Merc 150 OptiMax with Power Tilt and Trim on my 285XL Stratos. I park it in my garage, the motor down with the skeg about 5 inches off the concrete. I have noticed that the engine will lower itself over a 2 week time period so that the keel is about 1 inch off the concrete. Is this nor...

Let's rally the troops
For big tournaments $200 is not much to share among the participants. However a small club like ours, El Dorado Bass, the cost is excessive. If we decide to just not fish Berryessa, BOR wouldn't care and we would be giving up a great fishery. Another way for small clubs to protest this issue is to c...
