The State Water Resources Control Board's commitment to Environmental Justice work started in 2021.

Dear friends, we need your help!
The State Water Resources Control Board's commitment to Environmental Justice work started in 2021. This included funding Restore the Delta with enough Harmful Algal Bloom (HABs) water quality testing kits to provide research back to the State to hasten community protection.
Somehow, the State Water Board didn't order the test kits this year.
We just learned about this in the last few days. Our HABs testing program starts in May.
We need to raise an emergency $6,000 to purchase tests, so that we can fulfill commitments to other funders and to pay staff and interns to do the water quality testing work. The tests are expensive and take time to order, so this is an urgent ask.
There are several ways you can help us.
1. You can donate via our website. https://restorethedelta.org/donate/
2. You can purchase a ticket to our fundraiser or donate via Givebutter. (You do not have to purchase a ticket in order to donate on Givebutter.) https://givebutter.com/wherethefutureflows2024
3. You can mail a check with this form to 2616 Pacific Ave #4296 Stockton, CA 95204. https://restorethedelta.org/.../donationform-plain2024.pdf
Your support over the years has helped to stop the twin tunnels, implement new programs within our organization, and train the next generation of leaders for the place that we call home. We continue to keep you in our hearts as we work for a positive and vibrant future for the Delta.
